About Us

Markham Little Theatre (MLT) is an all-volunteer community theatre group that has been bringing stories to life for over 60 years. As a not-for-profit organization and registered charity, MLT thrives on the passion and dedication of its members, both on stage and behind the scenes. There is always plenty to do when putting on a show, and those looking to get involved will find a welcoming and creative environment. Backstage—our “off-stage” home—is located on the grounds of the Markham Museum at 9350 Markham Road, just north of 16th Avenue, and serves as the hub for our activities. MLT is also a proud member of ACT-CO, the Association of Community Theatres – Central Ontario, and participates in the annual ACT-CO Festival. Over the years, we have been honoured with numerous nominations and awards, reflecting our ongoing commitment to quality community theatre.
